Clients' Perceptions of ESG Red Flags in Law Firms

I was recently quoted in an article by Dan Packel on The American Lawyer about client observations of ESG work within firms.

It is interesting to note that clients of professional service firms are beginning to notice that some firms are quick to counsel clients on ESG issues without modeling these behaviors themselves.

A better way to refer to this is "walk the talk" -- firms must be executing ESG best practices before they advise clients on similar issues. The impact of ESG practices is too important to be left to anyone but the firm's leadership team.
